Hi, Hot Dog Helen here!
I hope you are staying warm with the cold temperatures and snowy days that we have been having. Something I always look forward to during these cold winter months is Valentine’s Day.
Valentine’s Day is a great day that helps heat things up. St. Valentine's Day is the annual celebration of romantic love, friendship and admiration. Every year on the 14th of February many people partake by sending messages of love and affection to partners, family, and friends.
I am here to give you some advice on how to celebrate this special day. First of all, you do not need a romantic partner to celebrate Valentine’s Day. You can celebrate with family and friends. So, don’t worry about being single or not having a date. Take your best friend or even your mom on a date. The love you share with them is much more important than a fancy date that may not even lead to anything.
Also, you could spend this day honoring the love you have for yourself. If you do have a partner to celebrate with, I’d suggest doing something you both love. I don’t think Valentine’s Day has to be filled with expensive gifts and chocolates for it to be special. You should make this day about honoring your relationship and loving each other. In the end, I think you should take this day to appreciate all the forms of love you are so blessed to have in your life. Relish in the time spent with the ones you love.
It’s always good to ketchup,
Hot Dog Helen
